Notice from Change Healthcare (CHC)

This notice is to inform you about a security incident that may have affected your patients’ or members’ protected health information (PHI) that we manage on your behalf. We are providing this update in accordance with our responsibilities under HIPAA.

If you received an email on June 20, 2024, stating that no affected data had been identified from your organization, please note that this letter serves as an update following our review. We have now identified over 500 individuals whose data was impacted and linked to your organization.

What You Need to Know:

What Happened: In February 2024, CHC experienced a ransomware attack, during which sensitive data—including names, contact information, insurance details, medical records, and other personal information—was stolen.
